A new project devised by PyRLAB devoted to the education and promotion of Abstract Art in Motion in the Visegrad region.
The Animation Workshop participants will draw inspiration from paintings and graphic art by famous artists, reflecting upon the process of abstraction and its potential for expressiveness and communication through the moving image.
The earliest workshops held at CNP Centrum Na Przedmieściu in Wroclaw (Poland) will explore the works of Dóra Maurar (Hungary), Victor Vasarely (Hungary) and Július Koller (Slovakia). It is complemented with an exhibition designed and curated by children for Punto y Raya JUNIOR Festival 2021.
During the months of September and October 2022, similar workshops will be devoted to other artists in the remaining Visegrad countries, in partnership with HEAA Hungarian Electrographic Art Association (HU), Karpuchina Gallery (CZ), and Kino Úsmev (SK). We will publish more information soon.
